Volunteering is not only a great way to help make a difference in your community – it’s also an opportunity to learn something new, be a part of a team, and better understand the values of courage and responsibility. There are a number of ways that anyone can help.
We are looking for volunteers with many different talents to volunteer their time. It isn’t always just a need for firefighters. We are also looking for anyone who may have skills to volunteer in an administrative or auxiliary capacity.
Here are a few ways you can get involved:
Whether making a donation with your talents or time, it truly makes a difference! We can benefit from a variety of professional services that help our organization run, or volunteer at one of our upcoming fundraisers.
We welcome anyone with the passion to serve our community to join our team. Whether your passion is becoming a Firefighter or serving on our Administrative or Auxiliary team, we have a spot for you!
As a Volunteer Fire Department, we are responsible to raise the funds needed to serve our community. Your financial and equipment donations, as well as individual and business fundraisers, make an immediate impact to our team.
In today’s digital world, you can help our team by becoming a community advocate and supporter. Simply continue to engage with our social media posts, share our news and events, and help us grow our network.
Average cost for the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for one firefighter. This includes coat, pants, helmet, gloves, hood, & boots. Our department manages 20+ sets of gear and tries to replace each before their 10-year expiration.
Average cost for our Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) used for interior firefighting and other dangerous atmospheres. The department manages 15 SCBA in its inventory.
On behalf of our entire team, we would like to express our continued love and appreciation for our volunteers, sponsors and supporters. Especially the past few years during the COVID19 Pandemic. The support from our community allowed us to remain operational and serving our community. Our sincere appreciation goes to every single donor, fundraiser participants and volunteers that continue to support our efforts. We thank you.
